Practices: Major crops grown are Onion,Potato, Crucifers, Carrots and Green Vegetables. Due to the cool climate specific crops are grown and creepers are limited to Cucumber and Pumpkin. Tea plantation were predominant in the early 80`s and was partly removed and replaced by Sugar Cane plantation in the late 90`s.

Flat to almost flat and gently endulating. Altitude ( 100 - 275). Soil type varies according to regions and consist of HL / MSC /LBF and rigosoles.Annual rainfall are between 1250 - 2400mm. Minimum temperature15°C and Maximum temperature 30°C. Land is suitable for mixed cropping and foodcrops. Sugar cane plantations predominant.
Practices: Nearly all major vegetables crops are grown . Sugar cane plantation predominant. Most fruits orchards found eg Litchi, Citrus, Banana, Pawpaw.
